Director of Scioto County Job and Family Services and Scioto County Child Protective Services Gives Presentation to Lucasville Kiwanis

Director of Scioto County JFS and Scioto County CPS shares brief update with the Kiwanis Club of Lucasville. Tamela Moore Morton (director of Scioto County JFS and CPS) talked about the changes at JFS/ CPS since the CPS merged with JFS. Director Moore-Morton expressed her thanks for the backpacks the club donated (which was made possible by the Ohio Kiwanis Governor’s project). Director Moore-Morton also shares some exciting news that before the merger, there were 407 children in CPS custody. With the help of her spectacular team, there are now 299 children in their custody. This year alone, there have been 22 adoptions a big jump from the past year. Director Moore-Morton said that this result has been made possible by her team of dedicated individuals! Special thanks to Director Moore – Morton for speaking with the club!
